Home: Welcome

One of the most fascinating characteristics of the Bison is how they react when a storm is coming. While cows, their close relatives, huddle together, the Bison take the storm head on, traveling directly into its path. This symbolism of the majestic Bison heading directly into the storm is very fitting and an interesting reminder of how God would want us to face our own problems in life. We all know that the worst things in life are usually the times we grow in our relationship with God.

Here at Into the Storm we are driven by a single goal, to do our part in making the world a better place for all. Sometimes the thought of maintaining a substance-free life is daunting, just as trying to live life free from lying, cheating, or stealing is overwhelming. We all have sins that try to weigh us down, and it is a daily struggle to follow God’s commands. But life is a lot harder with more burdens when you don’t follow His commands. We will help you ease these burdens. Through the Holy Spirit, we gain power and strength, and when we fall short, we can remember that God still forgives. “The LORD is close to the brokenhearted and saves those who are crushed in spirit.” (Psalm 34:18) God tells us that if we are His followers, we will have the mind of Christ in us. We will also have the Holy Spirit who will empower and guide us, but we have to listen to his urging and humbly follow it.
